Free Drop Icons Utility: Using and Working with the Program

Drag and drop graphic files into the empty space of the workspace, and you will see three images in preview mode if three or more are added. If there are less than three images, they will be displayed in full. The total number of images to transform minus the three in preview will be displayed on the left. If drag and drop does not work, click “Add Images”.

Turn on the first switch to save the icons in the parent folder where the original graphic elements are located, or turn it off to select another folder. The second switch allows you to create a reduced icon. After setting up, click “Convert”, wait for the interface to reload, which will indicate that the conversion is complete and your icons are ready.

To remove images added by mistake, click the arrow icon. You can drag and drop images multiple times before starting the conversion.

Additional features of the Drop Icons utility

By clicking the “Information” button at the top of the interface, you can:

  • Change theme: Click “Change theme” to select a color, then “Apply”. To return to the default theme, repeat the process and click the purple button.
  • Change Language: Under Language, click the arrow icon to switch between English and Spanish, then click “Back” to apply.
  • Format: Clicking “Format” will give you two size options for the icon: “Multiple” includes 16, 32, 48, 64, 128, and 256px, which results in a 16px icon. The other option is 256px, which creates a single-sized icon, which may make it appear less detailed when enlarged. Note: if the small icon creation switch is enabled, a small icon will be created regardless of the format.

The left panel displays libraries, projects, fonts and icons used in the program. By clicking on the name, you can view the license, author and a short description. The paperclip icon leads to the official website. The Next and Back buttons allow you to switch between pages.
